Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g quark
  • 3 eggs
  • 180 g cheese (Gouda or mozzarella)
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • 200 g mixed cheese for gratinating
  • ½ bunch of spring onions
  • 250 g mushrooms, brown
  • 3 bell peppers, colored
  • 250 g ham
  • salt and pepper
  • oregano

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

All ingredients are intended for one baking sheet. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Cut the vegetables and ham into thin strips. For the dough, mix the quark, eggs, and seasonings until smooth, then fold in the grated cheese. Place baking paper on a baking sheet and spread the dough mixture on it. Place in the oven on the middle rack (top/bottom heat) for about 15 minutes. Remove the pre-baked dough from the oven and let it cool slightly. Then spread crème fraîche on the dough and top with spring onions, ham, mushrooms, and bell peppers. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and bake for another 15 minutes.
