Low-carb pizza with cheese base

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g cream cheese, grainy
  • 4 eggs
  • 50 g almonds, ground
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red or yellow
  • 200 g cooked ham
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • 1 small onion(s), red
  • 150 g turkey breast in pieces or strips
  • 50 g diced ham
  • salt and pepper
  • oregano

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Pizza with almost no carbohydrates

Cut the onion, bell pepper, ham, and turkey breast into the right size pieces. In a bowl, whisk together the cream cheese, eggs, and ground almonds. Then add the bell pepper, cooked ham, and seasonings, and mix well. Finally, add the grated cheese. Spread the entire mixture on a baking sheet. It’s best to line the baking sheet with a sheet of parchment paper, with a little overhang on all sides—this will make it easier to remove the pizza from the sheet later. Spread the onions, diced ham, and turkey breast strips on the pizza base and bake the pizza in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for about 20-25 minutes. The edges can get quite dark.
