Salmon from the oven

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 slice(s) salmon, frozen
  • 4 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely sliced
  • 10 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp capers
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Grease a baking dish with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Place the salmon, still thawed, in the dish. Top with the garlic slices. Drizzle with lemon juice and the remaining olive oil. Sprinkle with capers and season with salt and pepper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 30 minutes. Serve with baguette or small potatoes, fried with the skin on, and tzatziki. Tip: Use finely chopped parsley instead of capers.
