Stuffed mushrooms for grilling

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g mushrooms, fresh
  • 2 cups cream cheese, plain or with herbs
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • some Emmental cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Clean or peel the mushrooms (depending on your preference). Carefully twist out the stems, trim the ends, and cut into small pieces. Place the cream cheese in a bowl and season. Add the chopped stems and cheese. Add the finely chopped garlic. Fill the mushrooms with the cream. Grill the mushrooms over low heat until lightly browned.
