Low-fat potato wedges from the oven

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g potatoes, peeled and cut into strips or wedges
  • 1 tsp oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic, pureed or 1 garlic clove pressed
  • 1 tsp herbs de Provence or caraway
  • 1 pinch(s) paprika powder, to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Place the potatoes and the remaining ingredients in a bowl with a lid. Place the lid on and shake vigorously until the potatoes are evenly coated with oil, herbs, and spices. Preheat the oven to 180°C fan/convection oven. Line a baking tray with baking paper (you can leave it out if you use more oil) and spread the potatoes on it. The potatoes should be next to each other, not on top of each other. Bake for 45 minutes until crispy and golden brown. I like to skip the fries for this potato variation. It tastes delicious and is so easy.
