Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 liter of milk
  • 1 vanilla pod(s), pulp
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp yogurt, room temperature

Bring the milk to a boil with the vanilla seeds and pods. Stir in the sugar, remove from the heat, and let it cool to room temperature. Add the yogurt and mix well. Place it in a yogurt maker for about 10 hours (or let it ripen in the oven, on the radiator, in a rice cooker, in an insulated container, etc., at 40-45 degrees Celsius). Remove the vanilla pods. Drain off any liquid that has settled or stir in, as desired. Mix the yogurt well to distribute the vanilla seeds. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
