Light strawberry sorbet

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 600 g strawberries, frozen
  • 300 ml water
  • 75 g cane sugar
  • 2 lemons

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Squeeze the lemons. Bring 6 tablespoons of lemon juice to a boil with the water and the cane sugar, stirring until the cane sugar has dissolved. Then let the lemon syrup cool. Place the frozen strawberries and syrup in a blender or a tall bowl and puree. Season with the remaining lemon juice, if desired. Place the sorbet back in the freezer for another 15 minutes and then serve. A very light refreshment for hot summer days!
