fast, inexpensive, delicious

Thaw the fruit and use any juice that comes out. You can also thaw the fruit in the microwave. Purée 3/4 of the fruit with a hand blender, then mix it with the remaining 1/4 of the fruit. If you don’t like chunks in your jam, you can purée all the fruit. Then add the vanilla sugar. Stir in the gelling sugar and let it stand for at least 1 hour. Finally, add the citric acid. Bring everything to a boil while stirring, then simmer for 4 minutes. Pour into jam jars, close the jars, turn them upside down, place them on the lids, and let them cool. It tastes sweet and sour in summer.
