Strawberry-rhubarb jam with vanilla

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 700 g rhubarb
  • 300 g strawberries
  • 1 bottle of butter-vanilla flavoring
  • 1 kg gelling sugar 1:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash and puree the strawberries, and set aside. Trim and wash the rhubarb (do not peel it), then cut it into approximately 2 cm long pieces and simmer it in a little water for about 10-15 minutes until tender. Add the strawberry puree and the butter-vanilla flavoring. Cook the jam with a packet of 1:1 gelling sugar as directed in the instructions. Pour into jars while piping hot and enjoy.
