Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg potatoes
- 50 g smoked streaky bacon
- 1 onion(s)
- 40 g butter
- 40 g flour
- 375 ml milk
- 375 ml meat broth
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Boil potatoes, drain, rinse, and peel. Dice bacon and onion. Melt bacon in a pan. Add diced onion and sauté until translucent. Add butter and melt. Stir in flour. Gradually stir in milk and broth. Season with salt and pepper. Slice potatoes and add to the sauce. Garnish with parsley leaves, if desired. Diced ham is delicious with this dish.
