Kiwi – Vanilla – Jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg kiwi(s)
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 500 g gelling sugar 2:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 20 minutes

Peel the kiwis, chop them into small pieces, and place them in a saucepan with the sugar and vanilla sugar. If the kiwis are still a bit sour, let them stand with the sugar for a few hours. Then puree (if you don’t like chunks), bring to a boil, and simmer gently for about 4 minutes. Pour a little onto a small plate to test for settling. If the consistency is right, pour the jam into jars and seal them. If not, let it simmer a little longer until it sets.
