Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 medium-sized fish(s) (sea bream), 500 g each
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • butter
  • chili powder
  • salt and pepper
  • olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash the fish thoroughly, remove the scales if necessary and then pat dry. Peel the lemon and garlic and cut into thin slices. Make three diagonal cuts on the top of the fish. Rub with pepper, salt and chili powder. Lard the cuts with garlic and fill the belly with the lemon slices and the remaining garlic. Place the fish on a baking tray lined with baking paper and drizzle with a little olive oil. Cook at 170°C fan-assisted oven for approx. 30 minutes. Halfway through cooking, place two thick slices of butter on each fish. Tip: We recommend serving steamed vegetables (e.g. tomatoes, zucchini, onions) as a side dish, which you can place directly under the fish while cooking. Season with salt and pepper and serve with the fish.
