Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g minced beef
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 can tomatoes, chopped, 400 g
  • 6 tsp, heaped spice mix (Chakalaka)
  • ½ tube(s) tomato paste
  • Salt
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

with Chakalaka spice mix

Finely dice the onion, bell pepper, and carrots. First, fry the onion in a little oil in a pan until translucent. Add the ground beef, cook through, and season with salt. Add the bell pepper and carrots and cook briefly. Then add half a tube of tomato paste and cook for a while. Now add the seasoning mix, stir everything together, and deglaze with the chopped tomatoes. Cover the pan and simmer for about 5 minutes. This goes perfectly with rice.
