Creamy-spicy ginger-sesame dip

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g silken tofu
  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 piece(s) ginger root, thumb-length, possibly more, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove(s), chopped or squeezed
  • 1 tsp honey or a similar plant-based sweetener
  • 1 tsp vinegar, dark, Chinese
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

with silken tofu, vegan preparation possible

Puree all ingredients, e.g., with a hand blender. Carefully add the soy sauce a little at a time. The special aroma of the Chinese vinegar contributes greatly to the flavor of the dip. If the consistency is still too thick despite adding enough liquid, you can carefully add a little water. I recommend telling tofu skeptics that they’ve just eaten tofu only after they’ve eaten it completely. Then they’re guaranteed to enjoy it! It goes very well with vegetable sticks, Asian finger food, or spicy new potatoes. Or simply on bread. Warning: It’s filling! The dip has 584 kcal.
