Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g breakfast bacon, thinly sliced
  • 1 pack of strudel sheets
  • 1 egg(s)
  • Caraway seeds

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

goes great with a glass of wine

Place one sheet of strudel dough on the bottom of a baking sheet and brush with a little beaten egg. Then cover with a portion of the bacon until the strudel dough is covered. Place another sheet of dough on top and repeat the process. Finish with another sheet of strudel dough, brushing it with egg again and sprinkling the caraway seeds over it. Bake in a preheated oven (approx. 170 degrees Celsius) for about 10 minutes.
