Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
WW-suitable, low-fat
Mix the meat with the diced onion (previously fried in 1 teaspoon of oil) and the spices, including the eggs and breadcrumbs. Season to taste. Add your own spices of choice, if desired. Transfer the mixture to a baking sheet and roll it out evenly into an oblong rectangle. Place the slightly thawed or freshly blanched and well-squeezed spinach on top of the minced meat. Crumble feta cheese (light at WW, regular is fine otherwise) over the spinach. Sprinkle with pepper, salt, nutmeg, and a pinch of garlic. Roll everything up with the baking paper like sponge cake. This is pretty easy. Pinch the ends closed and place the roll with the baking paper on a baking sheet or in a casserole dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 40 minutes. Tips: If desired, you can make a small sauce from the meat juices on the baking paper. This is a quick and uncomplicated dish that is also suitable for parties. It tastes great both hot and cold. The ingredients can be substituted for regular ground meat or ground beef. My recipe is low-fat and suitable for WWF.
