Plum jam with cardamom and walnuts

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg plum(s)
  • 5 cardamom pods
  • 100 g walnuts
  • 500 g gelling sugar, 2:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash and pit the plums. Roughly puree in a blender or with an immersion blender. Mix in a saucepan with the preserving sugar. Open the cardamom pods and finely crush the contents in a mortar and pestle. Roughly chop the walnuts. Add both to the fruit, bring to a boil, and continue stirring. Boil gently for three minutes. Pour into twist-off jars while hot and seal immediately.
