Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 250 g rice
- 3 eggs
- 3 tsp sesame oil
- spring onion(s)
- Oil for frying
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 35 minutes
Side dish to Chinese dishes
Cook the rice according to the package instructions. Chill for at least 2-3 hours (preferably overnight). Fry the rice in a little hot oil until it’s nicely browned. Whisk the eggs with the sesame oil, stir into the rice, and continue frying briefly until the egg mixture is set. Briefly fry the sliced spring onions and season with salt and pepper. Tip: Add more vegetables if desired.
