  • 6 tbsp almond milk (almond drink), unsweetened, or other plant milk
  • 1 tbsp, heaped chia seeds processed into gel, see my recipe “Chia Gel”

  • some salt and pepper
  • some paprika powder, sweet
  • some vegetable stock, granulated
  • lots of coconut oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 23 minutes

also tasty for meat eaters, also available gluten-free or vegetarian

Drain the artichokes (the artichoke flavor will be lost) and chop very finely. Mix these and all the other ingredients (except the coconut oil) well by hand in a bowl and let stand for 10-15 minutes. Instead of the basil in olive oil, you can also use fresh, finely chopped basil and 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Divide the mixture into 6 portions and form patties with your hands. Fry in a pan with plenty of coconut oil (the patties should never be left dry) on medium heat until golden brown on both sides. Delicious hot or cold with vegetables or on a burger. Vegetarians can use milk, cheese, and egg.
