Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 100 g low-fat curd cheese

Instructions

ideal as a bread substitute, well suited for the low-carb diet

Preheat the oven to 130°C (fan-assisted). Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Squeeze the quark well. Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites with salt until stiff peaks form. Whisk the egg yolks with the quark until creamy. Fold the beaten egg whites into the quark mixture. Using a tablespoon, place two heaping spoonfuls onto the baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 60 minutes. It’s best to let the quark flatbreads cool in the oven overnight.
