  • 50 g honey
  • 50 g ginger
  • 1 lemon(s), untreated, juice and zest
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 1 kg apples, sour
  • Raisins (to taste)

Bring the apple juice to a boil with the honey, peeled and grated ginger root, lemon zest, lemon juice, and cinnamon stick. Add the peeled and sliced ​​apples and raisins and cook for 2-3 minutes. Remove the apples with a slotted spoon and layer them in a preheated (70°C) glass jar. Remove the lemon zest and cinnamon stick from the liquid, bring it back to a boil, and pour over the apple slices until the jar is full. Seal the jar and let it cool.
