Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s), yellow
  • 1 bell pepper(s), green
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 125 ml vegetable stock
  • Salt and pepper, black, from the mill
  • 2 tbsp crème fraîche
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Thyme, some sprigs, fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Halve the bell peppers lengthwise, trim, wash, and cut into thin strips. Slice the onion into rings and chop the garlic. Heat the oil in a pan. Sauté the bell peppers, onion, and garlic until golden brown. Deglaze with the vegetable stock and season generously with pepper, salt, and thyme. Cover and simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes. Stir the crème fraîche into the vegetables while they are still cooking. It tastes delicious as a side dish with chops.
