PURE Salmon Steak

The perfect pure salmon steak recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

the fish

  • 4 piece Salmon steaks
  • 1 piece Lemon (juice and zest)
  • 1 piece Coarse salt
  • 4 tablespoon Butter oil mixture

the vegetables (served lukewarm) as a salad substitute

  • 1 bunch Spring onions fresh
  • 1 piece Paprika (red / yellow / orange) each
  • 1 piece Onion (white)
  • 2 piece Garlic cloves chopped
  • 3 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Bianco balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Pepper; Salt; Chili; Sugar; Greek oregano fresh
  • 1 piece Lemon (zest)

additionally some baguette or flatbread

  1. Wash the peppers and then cut into rings like the spring onions. Finely dice the garlic and onion. Heat some olive oil in a pan and steam the vegetables in here gently and firm to the bite. The cooking process takes about 5 minutes. Season before the end of cooking and deglaze with a little balsamic vinegar. Take off the stove and let stand. The vegetables get a salad effect if you let them cool down slowly. Let lemon zest trickle over it before serving.
  2. Fry the salmon steaks in a pan or on a plate with butter and oil mixture until golden brown on both sides for 2 minutes. As soon as the fat has been reduced as much as possible, add the lemon juice and generously salt the steaks. Cook for another 2-3 minutes on both sides. Then turn down the heat and let the steaks soak in the lemon stock for 2-3 minutes.
  3. When you serve the plates, use the opening of the steaks to fill them with the lukewarm vegetables. Sprinkle some lemon zest on the steaks. Finished !!! To achieve a little more satiety, add some bread. You can also use it to soak up the brew 🙂
