Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 3 fish(s) , (Matjeshering) filleted or herring fillets in oil
- 200 g bacon, fat
- 2 small onions
- 1 m.-large gherkin(s)
- some pepper, crushed
- possibly herbs, cut as desired
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Finely chop the fish fillets and fatty bacon with a chopping knife. Finely dice the onions and gherkin. Transfer everything to a large bowl and mix with pepper and herbs, if desired. Tip: Stir in the brine from the fillets in the package. Serve with boiled potatoes or coarse, dark bread.
