Burger with pointed cabbage and BBQ sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 3 burger buns
  • 6 tbsp BBQ sauce (mustard honey)
  • 100 g pointed cabbage
  • 2 m.-large tomato(s)
  • ½ bell pepper
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 3 burger patties

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 hours 20 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 30 minutes

Warm the buns in the oven, then cut them in half. Meanwhile, grill the patties or cook them in a pan; this takes about 10 minutes on each side. Finely slice the pointed cabbage, wash the tomatoes, and slice them thinly. Wash and deseed the bell peppers, and divide them into the number of servings. First, spread the sauce on the bun halves, then top with the pointed cabbage. Now divide the tomatoes, bell peppers, and onions. Finally, place the patty on top and close the buns. Serve fresh with salad, fries, or wedges—whatever you like.
