Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 1 ½ kg minced, mixed (or just beef)
- 500 g onion(s), diced
- 2 cans of soup (oxtail soup)
- 1 can of tomato paste
- 1 can of mushrooms
- 1 jar of lettuce (Puszta salad)
- 1 bell pepper(s), red, diced
- 1 bell pepper(s), green, diced
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes
First, fry the minced meat in a suitable pan until crumbly and season with salt and pepper. Then add the diced onion and bell pepper to the minced meat. Sauté everything together for about 2 minutes. Then add the remaining ingredients—oxtail soup, tomato paste, mushrooms, and puszta salad. Finally, season the soup again with salt and pepper. Simmer gently for about 1 hour. Let the soup simmer until ready to serve. An original and delicious party recipe, made with Mom’s style. The soup always goes very quickly at our parties.
