Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 400 g beef strips
  • 1 zucchini
  • 1 bell pepper(s)
  • 250 g yogurt
  • 100 g crème fraîche
  • 200 g feta cheese
  • 1 head of iceberg lettuce
  • 100 g tomatoes
  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • Paprika powder
  • chili powder
  • pepper
  • oregano
  • garlic powder
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Wash and chop the bell pepper and zucchini, fry them, and place them in a baking dish. Mix the yogurt with the crème fraîche and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste. Spread 1/3 of the yogurt sauce over the vegetables in the baking dish. Brown the meat, season generously with paprika, chili powder, pepper, and oregano to taste, place it in the baking dish on top of the vegetables with the yogurt sauce, and spread with another third of the yogurt. Crumble the feta cheese and spread it over the meat. Bake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 15 minutes. Wash and chop the lettuce, cucumber, and tomatoes, and toss everything with the remaining yogurt. Place the salad on a plate, arrange the meat and vegetables on top of the salad, and serve.
