Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g pork schnitzel from the topside
  • 1 m.-sized vegetable onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 tsp gyro seasoning
  • 5 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 6 minutes; Total time approx. 46 minutes

Cut the schnitzel into strips, peel the onion, halve it, and slice it into rings. Peel and finely dice the garlic. Combine the schnitzel strips, onion, garlic, gyro seasoning, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil and let stand for 20 minutes. Heat the remaining olive oil in a large nonstick pan and fry the meat mixture over medium heat for about 6 minutes, turning frequently, until crispy.
