Celery with goat cheese

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 25 g butter
  • 1 celery stick, finely chopped
  • 175 g cheese (goat cheese), mild, semi-skimmed
  • 3 tbsp cream
  • Salt
  • pepper, black
  • n. B. water

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 32 minutes

Preheat oven to 180°C, butter a medium-sized casserole dish. Sauté the celery pieces for 2-3 minutes, add 3-4 tablespoons of water, and cook for another 5-6 minutes, until the celery is almost tender and the water has evaporated. Remove the pan from the heat, stir in the goat cheese and cream. Season with salt and pepper, and transfer to a casserole dish. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes.
