Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 5 apples
  • 150 g rusks
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 125 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Peel, quarter, and slice the apples, then arrange them on a greased baking sheet. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Crumble the rusks and sprinkle them over the apples. Pour in the water. Sprinkle the butter in small pieces over the mixture. Bake at 200°C for about 30 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream or pudding.
