Chocolate soufflé with peanut crunch

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 100 g peanut crisps
  • 50 g dark chocolate
  • 2 egg whites
  • 80 g sugar
  • 20 ml rum
  • 40 g flour

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Lightly crush the peanut crisps. Melt the chocolate over a double boiler or in the microwave. Beat the egg whites with the sugar until stiff peaks form. Mix the chocolate with the peanut crisps, flour, and rum. Fold the egg whites into the chocolate mixture and pour into a cup or soufflé dish. Bake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 15 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
