Spread the love

  • 10 apples
  • 30 g butter
  • Cinnamon powder, if desired
  • n. B. sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

A recipe for apple harvest season, when there are plenty of fallen apples. Peel the apples and cut them into pieces. Place the pieces in a buttered casserole dish or deep baking sheet. Spread the butter flakes over the apples and sprinkle with a little sugar. Sugar isn’t necessary for ripe, sweet apples. The amount of butter can be varied according to taste. Cinnamon isn’t essential either. Bake the apples in the oven at approximately 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 30-45 minutes. The cooking time depends on the apple variety. This dessert tastes good both hot and cold.
