Ingredients for 10 servings:
- 1,000 g flour
- 2 bags of yeast (dry yeast)
- 500 ml water, lukewarm
- 3 tsp salt
- 500 g cheese (Gouda!)
- 3 onions
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes
Dissolve yeast in water or mix dry yeast with flour. Mix flour, salt, onions, and cheese. Add water and form a large ball. Let it rise in a warm place for 1.5 hours. Knead again. Shape into a loaf and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 250°C (medium heat) for 20-25 minutes, then bake for a further 30 minutes at 150°C (300°F).
