Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg apricot(s), pitted and weighed
  • 1 kg strawberries
  • ½ lemon(s)
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 pkt. gelling sugar 2:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 hours; Total time approx. 10 hours 20 minutes

Wash, pit, and chop the apricots. Wash, hull, and chop the strawberries. Place the apricots in a saucepan and puree. Sprinkle 1 packet of sugar over them. Add the strawberries to the saucepan and add the second packet of sugar, the vanilla sugar, and the juice of half a lemon. Let it steep for a while. Stir and bring to a boil. Briefly blend again. Boil for 4 minutes, then pour into jars. Makes approximately 14 jars of 220 ml each.
