Apple and pear casserole

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 75 g sugar
  • 75 g butter, soft
  • 40 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 35 g flour
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ½ pear(s)
  • 1 apple, peeled
  • 4 tsp hazelnuts, ground
  • some butter for the mold
  • 2 tsp vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Preheat the oven to 175°C fan/convection oven. Knead the listed ingredients into a shortcrust pastry. Butter two soufflé dishes and sprinkle with ground nuts. Cut the apple and pear into small pieces and place them in the dishes. Sprinkle each with 1 teaspoon of hazelnut flour and 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar. Then divide the dough into two equal portions. Form a lid for the dishes from each portion. Place the lid on the fruit and press down. Bake the soufflés in the oven for approx. 20-30 minutes. They are ready when they smell good and are golden brown. The soufflés can be eaten hot, warm, or cold. Serve with vanilla sauce or vanilla ice cream.
