Peach-Nectarine Jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g peach(s), white, washed and pitted
  • 500 g nectarine(s), white, washed and pitted
  • 500 g gelling sugar, 2:1
  • 1 vanilla pod(s), pulp
  • 2 tbsp brandy

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 33 minutes

Cut the washed and pitted fruit into pieces and mix in a tall saucepan with the gelling sugar and vanilla. Let stand for 5 minutes. Then puree with a hand blender, leaving larger pieces in the mixture to your liking. Bring everything to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes while stirring (test for setting). After the boiling time, stir in the brandy and pour into glasses while still hot. Makes approximately 5 glasses of 250 ml each.
