Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 lemons, unsprayed, peel
  • 4 tbsp water
  • 250 ml lemon juice
  • n. B. water
  • 1 kg gelling sugar
  • 6 tbsp orange liqueur

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 minutes; Total time approx. 34 minutes

Brush the lemons under hot water and dry them. Peel the yellow rind thinly. Cut into thin strips and boil with a little water for 10 minutes. Add the lemon juice and make up to 1 liter of liquid with water. Sprinkle in the gelling sugar and bring to a boil while stirring. Let it simmer for 4 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the orange liqueur. Pour the fruit mixture into screw-top jars and seal.
