Sugar-free chocolate sauce

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 ml milk
  • 2 tsp, heaped cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 3 tsp apple syrup
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • some vanilla pulp
  • possibly orange peel, untreated, grated
  • possibly chili or rosemary

Instructions

Working time approx. 7 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 12 minutes

Heat the milk in a small saucepan. Whisk in the cocoa powder, apple syrup, and cornstarch. Heat the sauce for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until it thickens. You can refine the sauce with, for example, the pulp of 1/5 of a vanilla pod, some fresh orange zest, a pinch of chili, or some chopped rosemary.
