Apple Jam
The perfect apple jam recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 750 g Apples
- 250 ml Orange juice
- 0,5 Lemon juice
- Cinnamon to taste
- 500 g Preserving sugar 2: 1
- Peel and core the apples and cut into small pieces.
- Heat orange juice, apple pieces and cinnamon in a saucepan and simmer for 20-30 minutes. Take out the cinnamon stick. Puree the apple mixture or leave it in pieces to taste.
- Now stir in lemon juice and preserving sugar. Let simmer for 4 minutes according to the instructions on the packet.
- Fill the apple jam to the brim in prepared sterile jars or in small bowls for immediate consumption. Turn the glasses upside down to create a vacuum.
