Apple Jam

The perfect apple jam recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 750 g Apples
  • 250 ml Orange juice
  • 0,5 Lemon juice
  • Cinnamon to taste
  • 500 g Preserving sugar 2: 1
  1. Peel and core the apples and cut into small pieces.
  2. Heat orange juice, apple pieces and cinnamon in a saucepan and simmer for 20-30 minutes. Take out the cinnamon stick. Puree the apple mixture or leave it in pieces to taste.
  3. Now stir in lemon juice and preserving sugar. Let simmer for 4 minutes according to the instructions on the packet.
  4. Fill the apple jam to the brim in prepared sterile jars or in small bowls for immediate consumption. Turn the glasses upside down to create a vacuum.
