Ciabatta – Bread
The perfect ciabatta – bread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 400 g Flour type 405
- 3 tsp Sugar
- 1 heaped tsp Salt
- 0,25 cube Yeast
- 270 ml Water
- Some flour for dough processing
- Mix the flour, sugar and salt in a bowl.
- Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water and add.
- Mix everything well with the wooden spoon.
- The dough is very soft and should therefore rest covered for at least 2 hours so that the aroma can develop.
- Place the dough on a heavily floured work surface and fold into a packet with slightly damp hands.
- Cover and let rest on the work surface for 30 minutes.
- Then fold the dough twice again into packets and cover and let rest for 15 minutes.
- Prepare a baking sheet with baking paper.
- Sprinkle some flour on the baking sheet.
- Sprinkle a little flour on the dough and form a strand of dough approx. 30 cm long.
- Place on the baking sheet and sprinkle with a little flour.
- Cover and let rest for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 220 ° top / bottom heat.
- Approx. Bake for 22 minutes and then leave to cool on a wire rack.
