Breakfast toast with egg, ham and cheese

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 slices of ham
  • 2 slices of cheese, variety of your choice
  • 3 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • some butter
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 slices of toast

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Preheat the oven to 100 degrees Celsius. Quarter the tomatoes. Heat the olive oil in a pan. Lightly fry the ham and tomatoes until they have taken on some color. Keep warm in the oven. Beat the eggs in a bowl and season with salt and pepper. Toast the toast. Grease two silicone baking dishes (you can also use them without; they just look nicer) with a little olive oil. Place the dishes in the pan and let them heat up, then pour in the egg. When the egg is almost cooked, sprinkle the cheese on top and let it melt. Then spread the toast with butter, place the ham on top, then the egg, and finally scatter the tomatoes on top. Tip: Also tastes great with bacon instead of ham.
