Apple compote with juice

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 m.-sized apples
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 8 tbsp juice, e.g. B. Currant juice
  • e.g. cinnamon
  • e.g. vanilla

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

simple, vegan

Peel, core, and dice the apples, then place them in a saucepan with the other ingredients. Adjust the amount of sugar to taste, depending on the sweetness of the apples and their juice. Bring to a boil, then simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Stir occasionally. Once the desired consistency is reached, season with cinnamon and vanilla, or with other ingredients such as raisins. Let cool slightly and enjoy. Tastes great with pudding, ice cream, or whipped cream. Tip: I like to swap an apple for a pear. The amount is enough for a small pudding bowl.
