Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 6 slices of baguette
  • 100 g goat’s cheese
  • 6 dates, dried and pitted
  • 4 slice(s) of raw ham, e.g. Serrano
  • 1 handful of arugula
  • n. B. Pepper, freshly ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 28 minutes

Toast the roughly finger-thick baguette slices under the broiler until they begin to brown around the edges. For smaller batches, simply toast them in the toaster. Let cool on a plate for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, wash the arugula, dry it thoroughly, and roughly chop it. Dice the dates. Spread the bread slices thickly with goat’s cheese and grind a little pepper over it. Arrange the dates and arugula on top. Roll the ham into rolls or tear it into pieces and arrange it on the crostini. This quantity is based on 6 pieces. The topping quantities are only a guide and depend on the size of the bread slices.
