Ribbon noodles in cream and Leberkäse sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g tagliatelle pasta, wide
  • vegetable broth
  • 3 slice(s) Leberkäse , alternatively 6 hot sausages in their own skin
  • 125 g ham, raw
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 200 ml cream
  • butter
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the tagliatelle in vegetable broth until al dente. Meanwhile, peel and dice the onions, dice the meatloaf (or sausages), and peel and finely chop the garlic. Melt a little butter in a pan, then fry the meatloaf until golden brown. Gradually add the ham, followed by the onions and garlic, stirring constantly. Then add the cream to the pan and bring to a boil over low heat. Season with salt and pepper. Be careful, though, as the ham does contain a certain amount of salt! Drain the pasta and let it drain. Add it to the pan and mix everything well.
