Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 225 g butter
  • 225 g sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 225 g flour
  • 115 g currants
  • 115 g raisins (without seeds)
  • 115 g sultanas
  • 60 g candied lemon peel, finely diced
  • 85 g almond(s), ground
  • 1 orange(s), grated peel
  • Margarine, for greasing
  • 15 g almond(s), chopped for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cream the butter until fluffy. Add the sugar and cream with the fat until fluffy. Gradually beat in the eggs, then mix in the sifted flour. Finally, add the washed, dried fruit, candied lemon peel, almonds, and orange zest. Line a 23 cm loaf pan with greased parchment paper. Pour in the batter and sprinkle evenly with the almonds. Bake in the preheated oven at 150°C on the lowest rack for about 2.5 hours.
