Bread casserole with apricots

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g white bread (white loaf)
  • 1 can apricot(s)
  • 300 ml milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tbsp sugar, to taste
  • 1 package of sauce (vanilla sauce, ready-made product approx. 200 g or homemade)
  • some cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 6 minutes; Total time approx. 18 minutes

Cube the white bread and arrange it in a microwave dish. Drain the apricots. Whisk together the milk, eggs, and sugar. Pour over the bread cubes. Spread the fruit on top, cover, and microwave at 600 watts until set. Let the casserole rest uncovered for 2 minutes. Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve with the vanilla sauce.
