Sunken Crumble Cake
The perfect sunken crumble cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For the dough:
- 250 g Flour
- 200 g Sugar
- 200 g Butter or margarine
- 4 Eggs
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
For the streusel:
- 200 g Butter
- 200 g Sugar
- 200 g Flour
- 1 packet Vaille sugar
- 20 g Cocoa
To sprinkle:
- 10 g Powdered sugar
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C = / U heat.
- First put all the ingredients for the dough: flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs, butter or margarine in a bowl and work with the whisk on the highest setting to form a dough for about 3 minutes.
- Place the dough on a baking sheet size 30 x 38 cm that has been greased and floured or lined with baking paper and smooth it out.
- For the crumble: put the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar and cocoa in a bowl and add the cold butter in small pieces. Then knead everything into a dough with the dough hook. Pluck the crumble from the dough, spread on the light dough and bake in the oven at 180 ° C for about 30 to 25 minutes.
- Sprinkle the cake with powdered sugar before serving.
