Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 g pork schnitzel
- 2 onions
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 1 tbsp oil
- 200 g long grain rice, parboiled
- some salt
- ½ liter meat broth
- some pepper, white
- some thyme
- 1 can of mushrooms
- some soy sauce
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes
Cut the meat into pencil-thick strips. Peel and finely chop the onions and garlic cloves. Heat the oil in a casserole dish. Brown the meat all over. Add the onions and garlic and sauté until the diced onions are translucent. Sprinkle in the rice and fry for a few minutes. Top up with the broth and let it simmer for about 15 minutes. After about 10 minutes, add the drained mushrooms. Season to taste with freshly ground pepper, thyme, and soy sauce.
