Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g pork goulash
  • 1 tbsp, heaped clarified butter
  • 1 vegetable onion(s)
  • 250 g basmati rice
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
  • 1 tbsp, heaped paprika powder, hot
  • n. B. Salt
  • 1 tbsp, heaped vegetable stock
  • 2 green bell peppers, diced
  • 2 beef tomatoes, peeled, diced
  • 1 jar mushrooms, approx. 400 ml, drained
  • 250 g Gouda, young, diced
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Dice the meat and fry briefly in clarified butter in a deep pan. Add the onion and sauté briefly. Add the rice, paprika, and salt and fry briefly. Fill with water, add the vegetable stock, and simmer for 10 minutes. Then add the diced bell peppers, mushrooms, diced tomatoes, and tomato paste and simmer for another 10 minutes. Add the Gouda cubes and serve immediately.
